Dear All Members,

To make your membership at Xiangqi World even more fun, Xiangqi World will run a membership reward program from July 15, 2010 to October 15, 2010. This program includes the following prizes:

2 gold prizes (50 USD each)

One is given to the member or group with the most total games played.
One is given to the member or group with the most total Forum posts.

10 silver prizes (One Xiangqi World T-Shirt each)

5 are given to the members or groups with the total games ranked 2nd to 6th.
5 are given to the members or groups with the total posts ranked 2nd to.

To be considered a group, all players in the group must send an email to admin@xiangqiworld.net to inform us about the group and nominate a group leader. The group's total games and posts are the sums of each member's games and posts.

Platinum prize (100 USD)

The top 30 members with the most posts and the top 30 members with the most games played will be eligible to enter a drawing to win 100 USD. The drawing will be conducted in the week of October 18, 2010 at Huy Cong Chess Ring in HCMC, Vietnam. The exact time of the drawing will be announced in advanced so that interested members can attend. Gold and silver prize winners will also be announced in this event.

Program Rules

Except for joining a group, members do not have to register for this program. All games and posts in this period will be counted automatically.

A game is counted toward this reward program if and only if it is a rated game and each side makes at least 25 moves. A fast game (game time less than or equal 10 minutes) will be counted as half a game for reward purpose. A standard game (game time 15 minutes or more) will be counted as whole.

A post is counted toward this reward program if and only if it contains articulated, informative or educational content, has more than 300 words excluding quotation of other posts.

Xiangqi World reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any game or post based on game moves and post content.

If the same member or group wins two or more prizes, only one with the highest value will be awarded and the others will be given to the next winners in line.

If an award recipient do not contact Xiangqi World within 30 days of the Platinum drawing day, the recipient will be deemed to have forfeited the award and are not entitled to any remedies.

In no event shall Xiangqi World be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages) resulting from playing or posting on our web site.

Xiangqi World administrators and affiliates are not included in this program.
